~~~Christmas 2005~~~
Hi There,
Thought I'd share a few pictures from Christmas since you've all always been so good   about sharing yours.  I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird for this message.  Never tried it with pictures before...
Alex, Michelle, and Soulea came over Thursday, 12/22 ,because that's the only time he had, given the hours he works.  Heather, Ken, Bailey and Anique came over Christmas Day.
Soulea in "The Comfy Chair"
Here's Soulea with Lana, her new Cabbage Patch Kid, in "The Comfy Chair" (Monty Python fans take note).  It's a recliner with a sheepskin thrown over it.
And, here's her Dad, Alex
Soulea and her Mom, Michelle
Soulea and her Mom, Michelle.  The pineapple was really good.  It's a little dark, but Big Phil can still be seen in the background doing Christmas tree duty again.  The unique "picture-on-picture" TV viewing screens can be seen as well.
Soulea and Grampa Hans
Soulea with the start of the West Coast Branch of this particular Verryt Family Tree.
Heather and Anique
Heather and Anique, who was very tired that day due to all the Christmas type activities she'd been whirl-winding through.
A better look at Anique
Tried for a close-up just using software, but I guess I need to learn it better.  Of course, I could have just taken a close-up with the camera, but no, that would have made sense...
Group shot
Anique, Heather, Denise, Bailey, and Ken, who actually made it this year!
This shot also shows the vintage Marantz amplifier  that powers the speakers: two cabinets with tweeters and full range speakers are behind the recliner, and two similar cabinets are diagonally across the room, two more similar cabinets are behind the love seat, finally, there are two subwoofers behind the TV.  Actually sounds pretty decent.
Another group shot
As you can see, Anique was falling asleep on her feet.  Not really, she was into something.  Bailey is turning into a handsome young man.  He's also extremely polite, at least he was while he was here...
All-in-all,we had a wonderful Christmas. It was great to see the kids and grandkids.
Maybe next time, if everyone's schedules will permit, we can all be in the same room together.
Happy New Year!!
Love,
Hans
