It is the holiday season and I know people mean well..but.. I have received more white chocolate this season as gifts, than any other time in my life. White chocolate is my favorite sweet...and I think my friends(even a family member) think I deserve to have some. My problem is I can't say no to it... So far I have given most of it away...and froze some( to be had on a free day in the future). I am trying so hard to drop a couple of pounds before Christmas so as to have a free day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I am sure people are well intentioned, they look at me now, and see a thin, healthy woman who has worked hard and now deserves a treat...but the temptation of having it around, knowing it is there, is far more pain than pleasure. Off program food is such a struggle for me..if only they realized...
People know I am done losing weight, what they don't realize is that I must always be on guard in regards to food. To keep this weight off means to plan and stay focused, a gift of white chocolate is never a planned thing. I can and will incooperate it into my free day, and until that day arrives I will not heed it's calling....I hope....
