How we got engaged
Brad and Kara went on a walk with Kara's dad, Ed, her niece and nephew, Sophia and Jonah, and her pug, Algy. Towards the end of the walk, when they were all back in the driveway, Kara noticed a string hanging out of Brad's shirt pocket. Being the OCD girl that she is, Kara tried to pull the string off of the shirt, but when it didn't come loose, she decided to tuck it back in the pocket. Brad said, "no sweetie, just pull it!" Kara responded, "NO! I don't want to ruin your shirt. I'll cut it off with scissors when we get back inside." So Brad decided to pull the string... And a ring popped out of his pocket!!! Kara's immediate reaction was "Are you serious right now!?!" Brad responded, "Yes I'm serious. Put your beer down." Then, he got on one knee and said, "Thank you for coming into my life and making it wonderful. Will you please continue to make my life wonderful by being my wife?" Kara obviously said, "Yes!!"
..... Little did Kara know that the string had been hanging out of Brad's pocket since the night before, and Brad was just waiting for her to notice it.
