We've made arrangements at the following hotels, which are closest to the castle. We are personally going to be staying at the Holiday Inn after the wedding. Also, we are working on arranging transportation via a shuttle after the wedding to the Holiday Inn, because we do not want anyone drinking and driving.

There are more hotels in the area. Manchester, which is about 20 minutes from the castle, has quite a few options.
Attire
The attire for the wedding is semi-formal.
However, we also understand that it is Halloween and that people may want to wear costumes. We would prefer that for the ceremony you wear semi-formal attire, but please feel free to change into a costume later in the evening (after the photographers have gotten some good pictures of everyone). The wedding party includes children, who will be changing into costumes as the night goes on. Rumor has it that the mother of the bride, Anne, is also planning on changing into a costume before the end of the night!
